Fall is the perfect season for riding boots. I've been shopping for a new pair to replace my 4 year old boots that are falling apart. I came across the Betty riding boots from Ann Taylor during their 40% discount promotion. I ordered the boots in mahogany, they also come in black. The shipping took some time due to all the orders they were receiving from the sale, but everything still arrived during the suggested time frame.
I've been really happy with these boots! I have fairly wide calves compared to my small ankles which makes boot shopping a total nightmare. I typically size up to a 7 from a 6.5 to have the calf part fit, and put up with the roomy shoe portion. These boots fit true to size, not too snug around the calf and not too big by the ankle. They have a great shape to them, and the height is perfect. The leather is smooth and soft.

I'm wearing my 3 yr old riding boots out too but Havn't found the perfect pair for replacement yet. I better check out this sale while its still going on! haha
