E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color Quad in Silver Lining Review, Swatches, FOTD

The "Hey, it's a $1 why not try it?" reasoning came over me when I was at K-Mart the other day. I bought the E.L.F. Brightening Eye Color in Silver Lining (#2003) as a wallet friendly beauty pick me up. K-MART only had three quads in store but you can find the rest (along with ingredients information) on the E.L.F. website.

Silver Lining comes with a pearly highlight, a light pink that can also dual as a highlight, a blue purple shade, and a charcoal gray shade. All the shadows have a touch of shimmer to them. Both the pigmentation and texture blew me away for a dollar quad. It's smooth, easy to blend, and rich in color.

The color combination works really well. You can do different looks with it, from soft and girly to various smoky eye combinations.

I gently swatched it here.

I did a look with the entire quad. I applied the the blue purple on my outer corners and blended it inwards with the pale pink. I used the charcoal shade as liner and added a touch of it to my outer corners. I used the pearly highlight shade under the brow area.

The look was finished off with some Face Atelier Pink Satin Blush and Givenchy Pop Gloss in Pep's Pink on top of a unknown Sephora brand lipstick

Verdict
Great little quad with good color pay off and silky texture at a very affordable price point. What's not to like?

XOXO, M
