MAC Give Me Liberty Of London Mini Haul & Blue India Swatch + Review


I'm fairly convinced that this recent collection from MAC was released more for the packaging than for the actual products. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of cosmetic goodness going on but the main focus is the stunning intricate vintage print that decorates the cases and boxes. Even if you had no intention of purchasing anything it's likely that you'll end up getting something for decorative purposes (the fact that you can use it is a bonus).


My mini haul consisted of Blue India nail lacquer and Blooming Lovely (Amplified) lipstick


I originally wanted a lipstick from the collection for the gorgeous tube but the limited edition Blooming Lovely turned out rather attractive when I tried it on at the store. Score for me!


Blue India is a very unique shade I can't say that I've seen anything quite like it. The formula is good, smooth and non streaky. I'm very much in love with the color despite the fact that it looks more like a fall/winter color. Double score for me!

  2. I got the Ever Hip lipstick. Love it, hard to make it look true on me cause my natural lips are so dark but I just love the color so much

  4. the eyeshadow pink tone is pretty. the packaging is nice, MAC should really do more nice packaging for their items instead of plain black color.

  6. I wanted to get Blooming Lovely but it was too purple for me so i opted for Ever Hip. How's the last power for MAC polishes?

  8. I skipped this collection. I kind of wanted Shell Pearl Beauty Powder... but I have so many peachy-pinks and shimmer powders already LOL. I actually swatched Ever Hip and decided it was a little dry and boring and went with my first Amplified Creme in Impassioned instead lol.

    Can't wait to see how Blooming Lovely looks on you! I'm convinced it's too lavender for my skin, but it is so pretty...

  11. Sheesh!! It's the damn packaging that sucks me in! LOL! Doesn't matter that I don't need anymore MU or that I don't have $$$ The darn packaging always lures me!! LOL!

  13. I'm eyeing that Blue India nail polish too, and I'll have to swatch them first before I buy, but I'm eyeing a lipstick and maybe either a powder or blush, but depends on when I swatch them later ;)

    I like the look of "Bough Grey" eyeshadow, but that's pretty much it to be honest...!
