MAC in Lillyland Swatches and Thoughts

MAC in Lillyland brings a dash of summer in the middle of winter. Limited edition lipgelees, cremeblend blushers, face powder, pearlmatte eyeshadow and face powder, and nail lacquer came out with this collection. The stars of this collection are the cremeblend blusher and lipgelees.

Limited edition lipgelee shades left to right: Shift To Pink, Preppy, Resort Life, Lush & Bright

These lipgelees are sheer with a TON of shimmer, smooth and far less sticky than MAC lipglass/dazzleglass. If you're into lots of shimmer you'll absolutely LOVE these. I picked up Resort Life, the color is almost non existent when applied but it's a pretty topper gloss.

Limited Edition Cremeblend Blush shades left to right: Joie-de-Vivre, Florida, So Sweet So Easy, Optimistic Orange

The cremeblend blushers are highly pigmented, smooth, and easy to blend. I love the texture and the semi dewy look they give off but only walked away with So Sweet So Easy since its the only shade that worked for my fair skin tone.

Are you eyeing anything?

XOXO, M

  1. It IS so gorgeous -- but now that I see the swatches, I doubt I would really WEAR any of it (though it looks gorgeous, they just aren't my colors!) so I think I can safely say I am going to pass :)

Maybe ::gg:: (just to be on the safe side ::gg::)

I am really feelin' the Joie de Vivre. Something is telling me orange/coral cheeks are gonna be an upcoming trent. What a fantastical wait to add colour to ones LQQK!

  10. Definitely eyeing So Sweet, So Easy and Joie-de-Vivre, but I'm afraid they won't really work with my oily skin... especially in the summertime when I would probably want to wear them. =/

  11. I was going to ignore this collection and stick to the neutrals of all races, and then I ended up not liking all races and got lush & bright and now I'm lemming on the creme blushes. oh no!!! ;)
