Quick Review of YSL Temps Majeur Intensive Skin Supplement

The SA at the YSL counter gave me two samples of the Temps Majeur Intensive Skin Supplement Creme as my gift with purchase item. I was intrigued, Temps Majeur is YSL's luxury skin care line and priced similar to that of La Mer and Guerlain skin care products.

The intensive skin supplement cream contains a cyto-regenerating complex that is suppose to smooth away wrinkles and improve your skin's elasticity. The price is hefty, $330 for 1.6 Oz

The texture is luxurious; smooth, silky and glides onto your face with almost a cooling sensation. Its non sticky and very hydrating which I like. I used it as a night creme and woke up to smoother skin. What I didn't like was the strong scent, bothersome for a face creme.

Is it worth $330? It depends. When it comes to luxury skin care you're always told that the ingredients are superior and a fair amount of research was conducted to create the product. In the end all that matters to you is if the creme does what it claims and what it does for your skin. Right now I can't justify spending $330 on this creme as I feel its better suited for mature skin, it may be something I'll revisit later on.

Are you using a luxury skin care product? Does it do you wonders?

XOXO, M

  1. i just tried a couple of luxury skincare brand testers so I can't really tell if it made a difference, I think most skincare product would work only if you use it long term..that's my opinion though :) great weekend to you mona!

  3. maybe I can't fork out a lot of money for luxury skincare if other affordable creams are working well for me, good skin is also a result of good diet and water intake so I guess that's a cheaper and healthier alternative too haha.

  5. I use some high end skin care, like Dr. Sebagh, but I use mostly drug store stuff from Boots plus P&J Whitening Serum.

I think skin quality is actually mostly about genetics, and expensive skin care won't compensate for that!

  6. I use the moisturiser from their...regular ysl range and I 'm very pleased!
Thankfully it's nowhere near that but still a lot higher than any drugstore moisturiser!
Now, I don't know if I 'd ever spend that much on a product in the future...
possible, but still sounds a bit too much!

  7. Holy, 330$? That's just waaay to much even if it would do wonders for me. But then again... Depends on if it is a miracle cream or a just work wonders. Beauty has it's price I guess

  8. Wow! $330 is quite a bit. I'll be honest those I know with the best skin tend not to use hardly any products. And if you find something that works for you (regardless of price) use it. But at that price I'm sure your paying for the name.

  9. OMG... @_@!! That's expensive.. and I bet those older folks WILL shell out that much to stay young when there's cheaper things that work just as well! :O!
