The NARS eyeshadow duo in Eurydice was released as part of the NARS 2009 Fall collection. The duo looks very attractive in the pan, a purple with blue shimmer and a sparkly gunmetal gray.
About: The NARS site describes the two colors as electric aubergine and graphite. I thought the combo sounded fantastic and hopped on over to the NARS counter

Thoughts: Unfortunately, the colors didn't come out like the way it looks in the pan, at least not for me. The electric aubergine looked more like cranberry than purple with very little blue to it. The graphite shade is decent, though a little more sparkle like the pan would've been nice. The pigmentation is good, consistent amongst NARS eyeshadows.

The colours look blotchy and not anything like the ones in the pan when swatched. This would definitely be a pass for me =(

I swatched it at the sephora and the first time I swatched it, it wasn't as consistent. So I packed it on with my ghetto qtip and it looked better :D I LOVED the grahite color when I swatched it though ^_^ You probably have to layer it on for the true color, but if you want just a sheer wash of color and you want it to look like how it does in the pan, you should probably skip out on this one :)

I've never tried Nars eyeshadow before, i really want to get this purple one called "lulu", :p
they look a little sheer..

I tried packing on the purple side and couldn't get it to look like that purple, believe it really depends on your skin tone

I got this on Friday, I liked it a lot esp the grey color and I thought the purple would look too bruise like but it ended up being quite pretty.
Aww....it looks so different from the pan! I got excited when I saw it in the pan..*frowns* Oh well
