High End Drugstore Beauty?

I went to Duane Reade (a NYC drugstore) to have a look at their new "look boutique".  The second floor features a ginormous beauty section carrying everything from regular drugstore brands to more expensive ones...

Pop beauty and Pur minerals

Too Faced stand

Yes to Carrots

They even have their own beauty tools section

Revlon, L'oreal, etc

100% Pure, a brand I haven't seen before, anyone tried this before?

100% Pure lippies. The packaging looks nice but its flimsy feeling

The texture is pretty impressive, these lippies are priced at $16

The foundation bottle is girly, claims to have antioxidants and vitamins

I didn't buy anything since I had to run but will have to go back and have another look!

If anyone is interested, this particular DR is at: 1350 Broadway between 35th and 36th street

XOXO, M

  1. I haven't tried anything from 100% Pure, but I've heard basically nothing but raves about the line. In particular, the Coffee Bean eye cream is really popular, and I know a lot of people love the scrubes and shower gels as well. Don't know much about their color cosmetics though those lipsticks definitely look cute.

  2. I think I've seen the 100% Pure line in Hong Kong's Sephora, it claims to be an organic brand I guess! I wish we have Too Faced in our Sephora too!!

  20. That store looks super nice! I wish that was my everyday drugstore, or I lived like across the street from it x)
I can't believe it has like its own brush tool section, it's kind of reminds me of sephora though.
