Lunasol Orange Gradation Palette

I got a few requests asking for a look with the Lunasol Orange Gradation palette, so here it is...

What's on my face?

- Lunasol orange gradation (blooming eyes)
- MAC cremesheen lipstick in speed dial
- Majolica Majorca blush in RD225 (its a peachy blush with gold shimmer)

eye close up

using Shisem lashes

Thoughts: I like this palette for its colors over the texture. Lunasol eyeshadows are not as silky smooth in comparison to Guerlain or Dior. What makes it stand out is that the colors in the palette compliments asian skin tone. I'm happy with the purchase since I got it at a decent price (its cheaper in HK than in Japan).

I got to meet Betty of Imomoko.com this weekend! She's such a sweetheart! We had fun walking around NYC and even did a brief detour to NJ for some Mitsuwa ramen :)

We went to Saks and picked up some goods! DiorSnow Toner, Cream, and Guerlain foundation

Betty was super sweet and gave me a gift pack...

bihada sheet masks, jewels, muji cotton, muji blotting paper, shu uemura samples, milky candy and it all came wrapped in that super cute shu uemura fabric!
Thank You so much Betty! Please come back to NYC soon!!

I saw two fantastic movies this weekend, District 9 and The Hurt Locker. I LOVED District 9, it was amazing. If you haven't seen it, go now!

Aside from travel posts I'm going to have a blogger sale and giveaway coming up soon!

  4. thanks for the review! Now I've eliminated Lunasol from my wish list altogether. Texture is important to me~ I have Dior, so I must try Guerlain now!! Hope they have peachy shades, which is what I'm after for a bridal look~

  5. I am with you on the Lunasol vs Guerlain vs Dior!! Lunasol do oh such pretty complementary shades for our skintone but Guerlain is where the LUXE quality comes into play.

    AYYYYYY you look so pretty!!!

  7. I am with you on the Lunasosl vs. Guerlain vs Dior!! Except I don't own much Guerlain, mostly Dior... I like the quality of Dior's shadows better but the two Lunasol ES palettes I have show up more consistently... XD;

    The EOTD is lovely though!! I can't imagine wearing orange, but it looks soo subtle there.

  11. Love the lunasol colors. As an Asian myself, sometimes I find it hard to wear orange, but this one suits you well. Will you do review on teh Guerlain foundation? I'm interested to see what you think. I just got my first Guerlain palette, and I agree with you, the texture is amazing.

  12. hey girl let me know what u think of the guerlain foundation... i found the smell to be too strong and the texture to be too watery xoxo
