I thought I got some pretty good bargains this weekend. I never made it to the DvF over the weekend but did manage to snag a dress by her after all. I went looking for this dress...
I was in chinatown for the first time in ages trying to get some soup dumplings and came across this little store called Beauty Credit? Its similar to The Face Shop. I got some fake lashes, a head band, and a exfoliator.
I love headbands! and this one reminded me of gossip girl so I had to have it, it was $5~ not too shabby.
I never used the Laneige yogurt peel but I think this one works pretty similar. Its packaged in a girly purple bottle and is $12.50 which isn't terrible. It had a pleasant light lavender scent. Then I went to one of those street jewelry designers and picked up a pair of wing earrings.
Now a random shot of Miss Charlotte...
this was taken a day ago. I call this her "sausaging" position, she looks like a total hotdog! you can't see her legs! She's small in corgi standards, about 20.5 lbs, people still think she looks like a puppy :) she's 2.5 years old now.

that dress u got instead was wayy better i thnk
ReplyDeleteand beauty credit! ooh didnt know they were in nyc!
miss charlotte is a darling!!!
so cute and small
and scarily enough [or maybe not since we are scared already] i have those earrings in silver.
Haha I love how you took pictures in the changing room. Both of them look really cute.
ReplyDeleteThere's a Beauty Credit in Chinatown there? I know it's a small chain here, they sell pretty much the same things as the drugstores, but they focus mainly on haircare and cosmetics.
Lash extenders sounds tedious, imagine all the waiting and the possibility of poking your eye XD
haha Charlotte looks like a loaf of bread.
I showed my bf the pictures you put in the previous post and he immediately started looking up corgi pictures on flickr lol
i have those wing earrings in gold and silver, and i lost one for each pair , now i have one gold and one silver.. lol cute outfits btw!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow I love the dress you got at DvF instead!!!
ReplyDeleteThere's a Beauty Credit here but I've never stepped into it before. Heh the fake lashes' packaging looks really cute!!!
And Charlotte looks so cute!!!!! Oh and your gold you used to line your eyes really pops! Wow.
<3 Charlotte! I can't wait to go home today ...so I can take pics of my dog and exploit her on the internet as you have done. =P
ReplyDeleteI think the metallic shadows really suit you! You look fresh/awake and young! I hope that was the look you were going for!!
OMG- yesterday I got in a big argument w/ CCO, did you know you can only buy 3 of each item, and your total purchase cannot exceed $300 or more? Also, if you go with a friend (in my case my bf) you cannot split up the products because you are considered "a group" and they refuse to sell to you!!!
The sales associate was so rude!! We didn't know the policy, they treated us as if we were stealing!! The manager was too until my bf pointed it out to her that her sales associate barked at me for having more than 3 of 1 item. He bought a bunch of clinique men stuff but they gave him a hard time for trying to buy some of my stuff..so he just put it all back. Haha the sales associate went storming off w/o an apology.
I wonder if I should email corporate?
I like the 2nd dress better, what a great deal you got on it! And my dog lays in the SAME EXACT position!!
ReplyDeleteGreat buys!! I love both dresses on you, I saw the first DvF dress at Saks yesterday and it's so pretty! But I didn't want to blow that much money, haha.
ReplyDeleteI am totally jealous of that headband! It's adorable. Where in Chinatown was that store?
ReplyDeleteI'm making a trip to NYC in January and I'm looking for places to shop, do you have any recommendations?
Thanks!
I'm looking to shop for cute, trendy clothes at an affordable price! I'm definitely gonna check out h&m and uniqlo because we don't have that here in Texas, but I'd love to hear some suggestions to more local boutiques or just hidden jewels of places for shoes and accessories as well. Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteAwesome buys! You have such great taste!
ReplyDeleteomg ur dog is like a miniature version of mine lol... ill post some pix up after i get a hang of this blogging lol seems harder than youtube lol
ReplyDeleteOMG! Your style is so hot, I love it
